Designs by Leonard Charles Wyon. VICTORIA D . G. BRITANNIAR . REGINA F . D., crowned head to left, seven pointed star and mintmark below / STATES OF JERSEY, arms of Jersey within heater-shaped shield dividing date; denomination below. KM 6. Near Extremely Fine.(2.89gr, 20mm, 12h.).

Footnotes
This issue was withdrawn in May 1881, except for 38,400 pieces. (McCammon states that 38,240 pieces remained, but this is not in agreement with the Royal Mint documents.) The withdrawn coins were returned to the Royal Mint and melted for the 1881 one twelfth of a shilling coinage (Numista).
