Italic Bronze Statuette of a Woman
3RD-1ST CENTURY B.C.
3 3/8 in. (96 grams total, 86 mm including stand).
Modelled in the round, standing with peplos dress and a large stola draped over the left shoulder and arm, extending to the knees; hair dressed in a chignon, transverse band below the breasts; mounted on a custom-made stand. [No Reserve]

From a collection acquired on the UK art market from various auction houses and collections mostly before 2000.
From an important Cambridgeshire estate; thence by descent.
