Greek Bronze Olpe

6TH CENTURY B.C.

5 in. (5 7/8 in.) (145 grams, 12.5 cm (250 grams total, 15 cm including stand)).

Pear-shaped body with rounded base, raised circumferential hoop at the neck and everted rim; applied high, ribbed handle with an engraved palmette at the base; accompanied by a stand.
