Gold Ring with Cameo of a Goddess
MID 20TH CENTURY A.D.
1 1/4 in. (26.64 grams, 32.68 mm overall, 21.27 mm internal diameter (approximate size British N 1/2, USA 6 3/4, Europe 14.35, Japan 13)).
With applied ropework detailing to the hoop, hexagonal bezel with scrolled filigree to the outer face; inset glass panel with moulded facing mask of a female with winged diadem and ornate hairstyle, hallmarked 18 carat.
Provenance
Acquired circa 1968.
