Frankish Bronze Radiate Brooch

5TH-6TH CENTURY A.D.

1 1/4 in. (9 grams, 30 mm).

Triangular head-plate with three radiating knops, shallow keeled bow and ribbed footplate; springed pin and catchplate to the reverse.

Ex important German collection of brooches, 1980s.
