Etruscan Terracotta Foot

7 1/2 in. (868 grams, 19 cm).
Right foot from a statue, hollow-formed and modelled in naturalistic style, with toes slightly curled; with surface deposits and traces of pigment.

From the private collection of C.H., Niedersachsen, acquired between the 1960s and 1987.

The vessel corresponds to the Warren type 28, with similar Egyptian parallels and correspondent typologies, with small differences on the edges (see Karetsou et al., 2000, nos.15a and 19a).
