5TH CENTURY B.C.

4 1/2 in. (223 grams total, 11.5 cm high including stand).

Nude female in arched pose with arms angled backwards behind her head to form a handle; mounted on a custom-made stand.

Provenance

Ex Charles Ede, 1989 [stock no. 4908].
Acquired from a Japanese collector, 2010.

This lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by search certificate no.12051-211850.
