English Milled Coins - Charles II - 1677 - Gold Guinea

Dated 1677, fourth bust. Obv: profile bust with CAROLVS II DEI GRATIA legend. Rev: cruciform shields and sceptres with MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX legend and date. 8.26 grams.

Good very fine and a detector find; minor marks generally and some scuffing to reverse (mostly along two sceptres), much mint bloom present; slightly weak strike to obverse bust. Scarce.
