English Medieval Coins - Henry VII - AV Gold Angel 1495-1498 A.D.
Class III, new type. Obv: St Michael spearing dragon (both feet on dragon) with cross-headed spear and HENRIC DI GRA REX ANGL Z FRAN legend and 'pansy' mintmark. Rev: ship with cross as mast with arms over, 'h' left and rose right with PER CRVC TVA SALVA NOS XPC REDEM legend, and 'pansy' mintmark. Very fine.(5.07 grams, 28.4 mm.).
