London (Tower) mint; i.m: portcullis crowned/–. First coinage; struck 1509-1526. (Portcullis crowned) [ҺЄNRIC DI GRA RЄX AGL], crowned facing bust / CIVI-TAS LON-DON, long cross fourchée; triple pellets in quarters. North 1779; SCBC 2334. Fine. Clipped.(0.38gr, 11mm, 1h.).

Found whilst searching with a metal detector near Eynsham, Oxfordshire, UK, before 1996.
