✠ ЄDWARDVS RЄX AN(?) (legend starting at 7h), crowned facing bust / CIVI-TAS LON-DON, long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters. Cf. SCBC 1450 (Edward I) or 1474 (Edward II); Withers Type 30 (unrecorded variety). Near Very Fine. An exceptionally rare and probably unique variety, with the obverse legend starting not at 12h as usual but at 7h.(0.26gr, 12mm, 8h.).
