Elagabalus AE 24mm of Orthosia, Phoenicia. AD 218-222.
Dated CY 531(?) (AD 219/220). ΑΥ Κ Μ Α ΑΝΤധΝΙΝΟϹ, radiate and cuirassed bust to right; cuirass decorated with Gorgoneion / ΟΡΘധϹΙЄധΝ ΑΛΦ(?) (date), Baal of Orthosia standing on two winged lions(?) with horns. RPC VI, 8243 (temporary). Near Very Fine. Very rare; only two other examples cited by RPC Online.(10.40gr, 24mm, 1h).
