Egyptian Knapped Flint and Chert Tool Group
MESOLITHIC PERIOD, CIRCA 15TH-10TH MILLENNIUM B.C.
2 1/2 - 3 3/4 in. (312 grams total, 66-97 mm).
Comprising an ovate flint scraper, domed and with elements of the original cortex still in situ, and a smaller chert cordiform handaxe; inked inscription 'Nile' to verso, and '#745.' to verso. [2, No Reserve]

From a collection acquired on the UK art market from various auction houses and collections mostly before 2000.
From an important Cambridgeshire estate; thence by descent.
