Possibly Legio XII Fulminata issue. Flavian(?) bust to right; thunderbolt within rectangular countermark / Blank. For countermark: Howgego 475. 9.09gr, 22mm.
Near Very Fine.
From a specialist collection of Judaean coins of a late gentleman collector.
The thunderbolt countermarks may have been applied for the Legio II Fulminata, but Howgego also suggests that they more likely relate to the cult of Zeus Hypsistos. -

TI CLAVD CAES AVG, bare head to left / DIAN EPHE, temple of Diana Ephesia: cult statue of Diana of Ephesus with fillets hanging from her wrists, polos on her head within tetrastyle temple, pediment decorated with figures flanking a central table with disk above, two tables and recumbent figures in angles. RPC I 2222 (Cistophoric mint); RSC 30. 11.73gr, 25mm, 6h.
Near Extremely Fine. Beautiful old cabinet toning with golden iridescence on reverse. Minor oxidations.
