Chinese Wei Terracotta Buddha Brick
NORTHERN WEI DYNASTY, 386-534 A.D. OR LATER
1 3/4 in. (3.2 kg, 30 cm).
Rectangular block with recess to obverse, Buddha seated in a lotus pose on a tall pedestal, his hands tucked inside the voluminous draped robe.

Ex Hong Kong collection, 1990s.
