Chinese Tang Polo Player Pair
TANG DYNASTY, 618-907 A.D.
9 1/2 in. (11.4 kg total, 49 cm high including stands).
A dynamic pair of ceramic polo player figures modelled in the round, each a female in a robe with long sleeves and extensive remains of polychrome pigmentation riding a galloping horse in vigorous pose; detailing to the harnesses and rider's garments; each with a custom-made display stand. [2]

Accompanied by an thermoluminescence analysis report no.C124d48 for one of the figures from Oxford Authentication.
