Chinese Tang Merchant with Ponytail
TANG DYNASTY, 618-907 A.D
15.5 in. (2.5 kg, 39.5 cm high).
Standing on a rectangular base, horse with head slightly turned and mouth open, integral saddleblanket and horseman wearing a peaked hood, tiered garment and long braid of hair to his back; some pigment remaining.
