Chinese Style Lidded Glass Vessel with Beast Hook
20TH CENTURY A.D.
7 5/8 in. (230 grams, 19.3 cm).
Squat body with stylised wing motif to each side and the handle formed as a fan-shaped tail, long curving neck with a beast-head finial. [No Reserve]

Saint Anthony the Great, who lived in the 3rd-4th century A.D., was the father of Eastern Monachism. According to the tradition, Saint Charalambos was martyred in 202 A.D. He is the protector of prosperity and health. -
