Matched pair of glazed candlesticks, each formed as a crouching lion on a rectangular socle plinth with trumpet-shaped stem to the back; chipped, usage wear. [2, No Reserve]

From a collection acquired on the UK art market from various auction houses and collections mostly before 2000.
From an important Cambridgeshire estate; thence by descent.
