Chinese Han Terracotta Stick Man

In a seated position, one leg drawn up beside its body with left paw resting upon it, the other pushed out to the side of its body, the right paw resting upon it, large head with gaping mouth exposing teeth and tongue, pricked ears and bulging eyes, sagging breasts resting atop the creature's pot-belly, incised fur detailing and a short tail to the reverse; hollow-formed. 135 grams, 58 mm

Modelled in the round; the horse in advancing pose with one foreleg raised, copious mane; the female rider with upright posture, wearing an ankle-length coral-coloured robe with long bell sleeves, scooped shoulder panels and raised collar, hair piled in an elaborate bun; remains of pigment to the hair and footwear, face and other details. 3.4 kg, 49.5 cm

The horse standing with head erect facing forwards, ears pricked, mouth slightly ajar, cropped mane and semi-naturalistic anatomical detailing; robed rider with stylised features; remains of polychrome pigmentation; socket to receive the (absent) tail. 3.3 kg total, 37.5 cm high
