Central Asian Black Terracotta Deer Rhyton
CIRCA 1000 B.C.
9 5/8 in. (653 grams, 24.5 cm).
Modelled standing with tined horns and cloven feet, flared vessel neck and handle to back, muzzle formed as cylindrical spout, circular eyes with light blue stone inlays.

Private collection, 1960s.
Accompanied by thermoluminescence analysis report no.C141444-13 from Re.S.Artes.
Accompanied by an Art Loss Register search certificate dated 13 January 2012 and IADAA search certificate dated 8 April 2020.
