Celts in Middle Danube. Hercuniates AE Tetradrachm. 2nd century BC. Kapostal type.
Devolved laureate head of Zeus to right / Devolved rider on horseback to left; large crest above head, [crescent] to left, hobble below. Lanz 784-90; CCCBM I 90; LT 9807; Dembski 1424; Göbl, Ostkelten 488/7. Good Very Fine. Dark glossy patina. Struck on a large flan.(9.60gr, 23mm, 2h.).
