Celts in Lower Danube Region AR Tetradrachm. Late 2nd-1st century BC.
Imitating Tetradrachms of Thasos, Thrace. Celticised head of Dionysos to right, wearing wreath of ivy and fruit / Imitative legend around Celticised Herakles standing facing, head to left, holding club in his right hand and lion skin in his left; in inner left field, H. OTA Class 3. Good Very Fine. Beautifully toned.(15.80gr, 30mm, 12h.).
