Celts in Eastern Europe AR Tetradrachm. Late 2nd-1st century BC. Imitating Thasos.
Head of youthful Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath, and with his hair partially knotted at the back and partially falling down the back of his neck / Herakles, nude but for laurel wreath and lion's skin over his left shoulder, standing to left, holding club with his right hand, monogram to inner left; blundered legend around. OTA, Class II. Very Fine.(17.24gr, 32mm, 2h.).
