Celtic Britannia. Iceni AR Unit. 1st century BC. Bury Diadem type. Gallo-Belgic XD.

Female head to left, sharply pointed nose, heart-shaped ear, diadem above forehead, corded curls for hair; snake in reversed S-shape before / Prancing horse to right, tiny S-shapes for mane, two pellet-in-ring below, pellet-in ring and large pellet boss in ring above. ABC 1495; VA 80-1; SCBC 432. Extremely Fine. An impressive and well-struck 'Bury' head.(1.45gr, 14mm, 4h.).
