1 3/4 - 6 1/2 in. (268 grams total, 4.3-16.5 cm including stand).

Comprising of a male head from a figurine, and a possible Grand Tour fragment of a shabti with tripartite wig and arms crossed at the chest, mounted on a custom-made stand. [2, No Reserve]

    Cylinder with cord and bead handles; accompanied by a copy of an old scholarly note, typed and signed by W.G. Lambert, late Professor of Assyriology, University of Birmingham, 1970-1993, which states: Cylinder Seal of soft black/dark green stone, 27 x 16.5 mm., condition almost fine. Wavey band consisting of notched band between two lines, the vacant spaces filled with birds with wings and tail feathers spread. From Syria or southern Anatolia, c. 2200-2000 B.C.'; supplied with a museum-quality impression. 15.2 grams, 27 mm



    UK private collection, acquired 1980-1983. Accompanied by a copy of a scholarly note, typed and signed by Professor Wilfrid George Lambert in November 1988.     Ex London art market, 1980-1990s. This lot has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database, and is accompanied by an illustrated lot declaration signed by the Head of the Antiquities Department, Dr Raffaele D'Amato.

    One series of arrowheads seem to belong to the category of lanceolate head and rounded shoulders from the category Type V, i.e. triangular arrowheads with rounded or angular midrib. Some other arrowheads seem to be a subcategory of subtype A of Khorasani but longer.
