Aureolus, Romano-Gallic Usurper BI Antoninianus. Struck in the name of Postumus, mid AD 268. Mediolanum mint.

IMP PO[STVMVS] AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust to right / [VIRTV]S EQVIT, Mars walking to right, holding spear and shield. Cf. RIC V.2 (Postumus) 388. Good Very Fine. Flan crack at 3h. Much of the original silvering remaining.(2.37gr, 18mm, 5h.).
