Halab mint. 'Standing Caliph' type. Caliph standing facing, placing his right hand on the pommel of his sword, girdle band hanging from his right elbow; around, 'for the servant of God, Abd al-Malik, Commander of the Faithful' in Kufic / Transformed cross standing on three steps; in left field, 'full weight' in Kufic; in right field, mint halab in Kufic; around, part of the first Kalima in Kufic.
