London mint. Wigheard, moneyer. Tribrach type. Struck 798-805. + Cꕺ•ENVV•LF R•EX, Mercian M with horizontal line above; all within pelleted circle / VVI-GHA-RD within angles of tribrach moline. Naismith L15c&e; North 342; SCBC 914. Extremely Fine. Well-centred with an amazing iridescent toning. Apparently the only issue of Wigheard of London for Coenwulf.(1.40gr, 20mm, 2h.).
