Anglo-Saxon Coins - Primary Phase - Series BIIIA - AR Bird on Cross Sceatta 680-710 A.D.
Obv: profile bust right with double ring of pellets (in place of blundered legend). Rev: flying bird with cross in front, over cross with annulet each side and pellet in lower angles, with blundered legend. Very fine, obverse clearly off struck showing the details of the legend beautifully.(1.09 grams, 11.94 mm.). [No Reserve]
