BMC type viii. Obv: helmeted profile bust with +Æ[ÐELRÆD REX A]NGL legend. Rev: long voided cross over incurved square with trefoils at points dividing [ ] / TAN / MOE[ ] possibly for the moneyer Aelfstan or Leofstan at York mint. Very fine; cracked across centre.(0.72 grams.). [No Reserve]
