BMC type IVa. Obv: profile bust with +ÆÐELRED REX ΛNGLO legend. Rev: long voided cross with each limb terminating in three crescents dividing +BYR HSIG EMΩO PINT legend for the moneyer Brihtsige at Winchester mint. Very fine; slightly double struck.(1.75 grams.).
