Anglo-Saxon Bronze Cruciform Brooch with Horse-Head Terminal

LATER 5TH-6TH CENTURY A.D.

5 in. (70 grams, 12.8 cm).

With trapezoidal headplate and lateral wings, domed stud above, deep bow and equine finial with discoid nostrils.
