Milan mint. Obv: IMP C POSTVMVS P F AVG legend with radiate and draped bust right. Rev: PAX EQVIT legend with Pax standing left holding olive-branch and transverse sceptre; T in exergue. 3.35 grams.
Extremely fine.
From the South Petherton, Somerset Hoard, found 13th November 2013. Treasure Act reference 2013T775. PAS No: SOM-B7CA61. Subsequently returned to the finder/landowner. Acquired UK market.
This issue believed to have been struck under the general Aureolus who defected from Gallienus to join with Postumus. -
