Ancient Roman Imperial Coins - Maximianus - AE Genio Follis (Unpublished) 301-306 A.D.
Lyons mint. Obv: IMP C MAXIMIANVS AVG, laureate, cuirassed bust right, holding spear pointing forwards in right hand and shield on left arm. Rev: GENIO POP-VLI ROMANI, Genius standing left by altar, modius on head, naked but for chlamys over left shoulder, holding patera and cornucopiae, officina letter A in right field, mintmark PLC in exergue. Good very fine. Very rare.(9.35 grams, 29 mm.). [No Reserve]
