Ancient Roman Imperial Coins - Julius Caesar - AE Paduan Medallion 19th century A.D.
An imitation of C. Iulius Caesar after Giovanni da Cavino (1500-1570 A.D.). Obv: laureate head of Julius Caesar facing right, C CAESAR DICT PERPETVO legend. Rev: L BVCA, winged caduceus and fasces crossed in saltire; globe, clasped hands, and securis in three quarters. Very fine.(22.45 grams, 35 mm.). [No Reserve]
