Obv: IMP CAES AEMILIANVS P F AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev: MARTI PACIF, Mars advancing left; holding branch, shield and spear. Good fine.(2.05 grams, 20 mm.).

Probably an ancient imitation or forgery, as neither Valentinian I nor Valentinian II struck votive siliquae in Lyons and the legends are incorrect. The obverse legend ending with PA is known from an imitation votive siliqua from the Trier mint, found in the Hermitage hoard. -

Rev: CONCOR-DIA AVGGG, Constantinople, helmeted, seated facing, looking right, foot on prow, her right leg uncovered, holding globe and spear, the lower part of which is hidden by her robe, A in left field, mintmark SMN Gamma. 2.36 grams, 18 mm.
Near extremely fine.
