Ancient Greek Coins - Attica - Athens - Owl AR Tetradrachm After 449 B.C.
Obv: helmeted head of Athena right, full eye, wearing earring, necklace, and crested Attic helmet ornamented with three laurel leaves and vine scroll. Rev: AQE to right of owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig with two leaves and one berry, and crescent moon behind, all within incuse square. Extremely fine.(17.16 grams, 23 mm.).
