African Bronze Statue of a Warrior
20TH CENTURY A.D.
2 1/8 in. (14.5 grams, 55 mm).
Depicted with an emphasised head with stylised features, wearing a headdress with long lappets and three plaits to the back of the head; simple loincloth with a rectangular apron covering his emphasised phallus that he supports with his left hand; flat-section extensions beneath the legs. [No Reserve]
