Welcome to the February 2016 London rostrum sale:

February 2016 London Auction

We are pleased to offer clients another large catalogue, with a range of interesting material from cultures from around the world. We welcome back our guest auctioneers Peter Bufton, Lindsay Gundersen, television personality Tim Wonnacott and our resident auctioneer Robin Baker.

We are presently accepting collections, groups and single items for our 24th to 27th May sale. Material received will be reviewed by our committee of experts on 24th March, which means our last date for entries will be on 23rd or sooner if the sale becomes full. Due to the quantity of entries already received, we urge vendors to consign their items without delay in order to avoid disappointment. To see our latest video, which includes Tim Wonnacott talking about our cataloging expertise see:

New website features include video links from selected items such as lot 1118 and lots 613 to 709. In future interesting and more valuable lots will include rotating videos to allow you to study of objects from 360 degrees. In addition we are planning pre-auction video productions, which will include interesting lots and some of the stories behind them. This video will be followed up with results in a post auction production to be released after the auction. We hope this move to provide more professional video productions will allow easier
study of more important lots, producing a more interactive and informative platform for visitors and clients.

Enjoy the videos and in closing, I would like to take this opportunity to wish our customers, old and new, a Happy and Prosperous 2016.

Best regards,

Brett Hammond (CEO)
