Collected near Mashaba, east of Pomeroy, in the Msinga district of Zululand. Ian Wilkinson collection, Nottinghamshire, UK, formed since 1985.
The Zulus pay a great deal of attention to intestinal medicine, purging themselves of impurities on a regular basis. These horn tips would have been used to introduce emetics via the rectum to purify them. -
