Seleukeia ad Hedyphon mint, dated 261. Obv: diademed and draped bust of Kamnaskires V left, with long beard and torque, star over anchor symbol behind head. Rev: somewhat garbled and retrograde legend for BACILEWC KAMNACKIPOY TOY EG BACILEWC KAMNACKIROY around diademed and draped bust of Kamnaskires V left, date ZXS (Z retrograde) in exergue. Good fine.(15.44 grams.).

Recorded by Isle of Wight Portable Antiquities Scheme Liaison Officer with reference numbers SZ 46183 and BNG 93479. Recorded with the British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) with record number IOW-529668. Accompanied by a copy of the PAS report. -

Obv: jugate profile busts left with Seleukid anchor terminating in monogram behind. Rev: Zeus seated to left, holding sceptre and Nike, who crowns him with IΛCIΛEΩC KΛMNΛCKIPOY KΛI IΛIIΛIICHC ANZAZH around. 14.29 grams.
