Western Asiatic Style Schist Ceremonial Dagger
CIRCA 19TH CENTURY A.D.
12 5/8 in. (504 grams, 32.2 cm).
Comprising a lentoid-section tongue-shaped blade with broad tip, waisted baluster, rounded lower guard, flat-section grip and curved aviform pommel; incised eye and beak detailing to pommel, each face of the grip with rectangular panel filled with ring-and-dot detailing; three inset studs to each face of the blade.
