Western Asiatic Style Bronze Calligraphic Mythical Bird of Prey
20TH CENTURY A.D.
12 1/4 in. (2.37 kg, 31.2 cm).
Hollow-formed and modelled in the round with guilloche bands to the tail and wing feathers, silvered prancing ibexes to the tail, chest and shoulders, band of silvered calligraphic text to the neck; hook with knop finial behind the head.
