Western Asiatic Style Artefact Collection

1/2 - 4 in. (344 grams total, 1.4-10.2 cm).
A group of three stone artefacts in ancient style: a haematite cylinder seal accompanied by an impression; penannular metallic bracelet with ram's head terminals and filigree ornament; an alabaster pot of tapering cylindrical form, frieze of birds advancing right engraved around the circumference. A free-standing stone figure of a horned cow suckling a calf, modelled in the round and using openwork technique, the cow's head turned to face the calf suckling at its underbelly, a fierce expression on its face, tail forming a loop; stylised anatomical detailing and recessed eye to both creatures; tail repaired. 447 grams, 13.5 cm wide
