Carved in marble or bone with broad domed upper face, barrel-shaped shank with a horizontal incised band, pieced laterally and with hollow underside to the shank; upper face with low-relief hexafoil design. [No Reserve]

These vessels were core-formed, in opaque green manganese, with a flattened spherical body and tall, thin tapering neck. Such categories of vessels were especially produced in the region of the Fayoum.
