Western Asiatic Millefiori Glass Bead Necklace
EARLY 1ST MILLENNIUM A.D.
17 3/4 in. (101 grams, 45 cm long).
Comprising opaque polychrome glass beads of mainly spherical and tubular types, displaying an array of decorative techniques and patterns including millefiori, chequerboard, ribbon glass and others; restrung designer necklace with a modern clasp.

Ex private collection, 1980s.
Acquired on the UK art market in the 1990s.
