8 1/4" (1.5 kg total, 21cm each including stand).
A matched pair of bronze bridle cheek-pieces, each a standing winged stag with erect antlers and head modelled in the half-round, pierced at the flank to accept the bit; mounted on a custom-made stand. [2]

Property of a London gentleman; formerly with the Mahboubian Gallery, London, UK; acquired before 1972; this lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate number no.10155-166566.
