Western Asiatic Inscribed Gemstone in Silver Ring
12TH-13TH CENTURY A.D.
1 1/8 in. (9.77 grams, 28.57 mm overall, 19.06 mm internal diameter (approximate size British R 1/2, USA 8 3/4, Europe 19.38, Japan 18)).
A hollow-form D-section hoop with applied filigree rope to the borders, raised gilt bezel set with a carnelian intaglio engraved with a one line inscription.

Private collection of Mr K.A., acquired in the 1990s-early 2000s.
