Western Asiatic Elamite Silver Statuette

2ND MILLENNIUM BC

4" (51 grams, 10.5cm including stand).

A hollow-formed silver statuette of a standing robed figure with domed headdress, hands clasped to the chest, holes for the insertion of separate eyes, applied earrings inserted through lateral slots; mounted on a custom-made stand.

Provenance

Property of a London gentleman; part of his family collection since the 1970s. Accompanied by X-Ray Fluorescence metal analysis certificate 00910-2017WS.
